Dear Saint Patrick Regional Secondary Community:
With a provincial election coming up next year, many organizations with political influence are beginning their campaigns to influence voters, and more importantly, political parties and individual Members of the Legislative Assembly, in their favour. One of the strategies that is currently developing from some lobby groups is a direct attack on government funding of independent schools.
In order to advocate effectively for independent schools, FISA BC is seeking information regarding the voting preferences of employees of independent schools and school community families, so that we can counter the arguments being made against your school with actual facts. All information given to the questions in this survey is completely anonymous. It is very important that as many people as possible who are connected in any way to the independent school community respond to this survey as soon as possible. If you are an employee or board member of an independent school, a parent of children attending an independent school, a donor, or simply a supporter of independent schools, please go to the Survey Monkey link at https://www.surveymonkey.com/
The survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete, as there are only 3 questions. Thank you for assisting FISA BC in gathering information on the voting preferences of voters affiliated with independent schools.
Peter Froese, Executive Director FISA BC
